Statement from the Organizers

​

After much deliberation we have decided that the 2020 Prague Media Point conference will be an entirely virtual event due to this year’s complications with COVID-19. 

  

Even though we prefer to organize in-person events and will miss seeing many returning friends and colleagues, we will take 2020 as an opportunity to rise to new challenges and turn what some might call lemons into a tasty lemonade of a journalism conference.

We remain committed to our mission of fostering the media’s work for the public good by convening solution-oriented expert gatherings that bring together unique, regional perspectives and provide lasting networking experiences. 

We are in the process of planning the event online, so please stay tuned. To get the latest information on the program and to be the first to know when registration opens, we invite you to pre-register on the homepage.
